
For me, the bed is the ultimate depiction of unity of the body and everyday object. bed as a place of mourning. bed as a place of ecstasy. bed as a comfort. bed as means of neglect. bed as refuge. bed as a place of growth. bed as a place of deterioration. bed as rest. A bed for a restless head.

the structure of the bed (body) is fortified with cinderblocks made from a mixture of cement powder and amanda's urine

a tinted silicone "skin" stretches over the bedframe as a silicone replica of the artist's foot attempts to penetrate the sheet/skin
